“ARTIST ARE NOT GUILTY”

We need to have a real conversation about what’s happening here.

Because The amount of backlash and fury that has been thrown at me about this #NewJeans is crazy!!! Especially from international fans.

The idea of autonomy and freedom from retaliation from a company should be a simple argument, but you guys stand in 10 toes down for a company that has had obvious issues with treatment of idols.

This isn’t just about a lawsuit—it’s about corporate abuse, misogyny, and how fandom culture is playing right into it.

But instead of addressing the actual issue the abusive power dynamics in this industry—fans are too busy pitting these groups against each other, feeding into the exact system that exploits and discards young women (and men).

There needs to be a serious study on the glaring issue that is #parasocialtunnelvision

The constant fandom wars aren’t helping anyone; they’re actively harming the very people you claim to support.

This is bigger than one group vs. another.

It’s about artist rights, autonomy, and the way corporations weaponize contracts to control and silence talent.

Let me be clear: my support for NewJeans does not mean I’m against ILLIT or LE SSERAFIM.

My support is for ALL artists and fight for their rights, because no one should be trapped in a system that sees them as disposable.

People need to learn to compartmentalize these issue to see the bigger picture, if we don’t, the cycle of abuse will continue, and more young women will suffer because of it.

A win for NewJeans as a win for all artists under these companies to have some sense of autonomy and control of their own lives and careers.
